Hold Harmless Agreement
Colleges and universities use the Roy Creek Canyon property for field study of native plants, wildlife, and the mesic canyon ecosystem. All students and visitors must read and accept this agreement before visiting the property.

By entering this property I personally acknowledge that I have read, understand and accept the following conditions:
As part of my curriculum at Austin Community College I acknowledge; that by my own actions, I am entering a nature reserve and unimproved area with very rough rugged and unimproved terrain and by participating in specified activities I hold harmless and indemnify the landowners from and against any and all losses, damages, liability, claims, and costs whatsoever of any kind and nature for injury to, or death of any person and for loss or damage to any property occurring in connection with any incident arising out of the occupancy, use, operations, and/or activities that the undersigned may participate while on the property, under the terms of this agreement, resulting in whole or in part from any perceived negligent acts or omissions of the landowners their heirs or providers, or any employee, agent, or representative of the landowners and/or its providers regardless of natural conditions or those provided by the land owners. (Property is an unimproved nature reserve).
To prevent or lessen any damage to the natural habitat, access to certain areas can be limited or restricted by the landowner. Any and all research, studies, surveys, exploratory or other activities will be scheduled and approved with the landowner and the instructors and only in the pre-approved areas.
Having read and accepted the above terms of entry and access on said landowners property, the undersigned accepts full responsibility and hereby accepts and will abide by the terms of this Hold Harmless Agreement in perpetuity.
